Pediatric Dentistry Pediatric Preventive Treatment Bringing your child to dental office at an early age is to encourage positive experience about dentistry. Most children will have all baby teeth erupted by the age of three. To maintain healthy baby teeth, the child may receive prophylaxis (baby teeth cleaning), fluoride applications, and sealants. Also, when the child starts to have mixed dentition, in other words, a combination of baby and adult teeth, he/she is eligible for a pre-orthodontic evaluation to identify some dental or jaw problems.
